Let’s Go Dabke! Brings Arabic Folk Dance Event to Groningen

In the city of Groningen, a centuries-old Arabic folk dance is being kept alive by the Let's Go Dabke! events. On February 8, Groningen’s Municipal Theatre will be transformed into a communal dance space, filled with food, live music and, of course, celebration.

The Glass Room’s Sam O. Maguire spoke to one of the organizers, Ahmad Abdulwahab, to find out what Dabke means to him.
